Support Historic Bostons

Nowhere else in New England can you find a group with an undivided attention on the people and ideas of the 17th century. And it’s all for you!

We’re a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit run by volunteers, all of us captivated by history and committed to bringing you the best of free public history. Our budget is minuscule - and everything costs. So please, if you enjoy our events, whether our fall lectures, our engaging discussions, or just reading our blogs, make a donation.

  • $250 pays the honorarium for a guest speaker in our fall series

  • $100 keeps our website up to date with new stories, opinions, images, and events

  • $50 contributes to the dull-but-essential infrastructure of Zoom, internet, surveys, email services and more that we need to survive in an online age

  • $25 helps us develop new programs focusing on New England beyond the Puritans

Every donation, no matter how small, helps. We don’t have big donors - we rely on you, the people who join our events.

The more you give, the more we can bring you the 17th century.

Donations to our 501(c)(3) are tax deductible.
