We’re a small grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit run by volunteers captivated by history and committed to bringing you the best of free public history, marrying rigorous scholarship with relevance and outreach to a broad public audience.

Your contributions go directly to creating our eye-opening, high-quality programming:

• $1000 supports a panel of Indigenous historians, countering the myths of colonial New England

• $500 delivers an entire month of innovative, thought-provoking public history programming

• $250 brings you brilliant speakers, from leading Puritan scholars to experts on New England enslavement

• $100 keeps you up to date with new stories, opinions, images, and events on our website

• $50 funds our November 7 symposium on Puritanism

• $25 is the steady contribution we need to keep going.
