Our board

John Morrison, president, is a consultant who’s also active in the Waltham Historical Society and a tour leader with Boston by Foot. 

Sidney Levitsky, vice-president, is the David W. and David Cheever Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and senior vice-chair, department of surgery, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

John Benson, treasurer, is a Charlestown-based architect, active in historic preservation in Boston since 1973. 

Ralph Belmonte graduated from Boston College and Lesley College. He was a senior collector at Hanscom Federal Credit Union.

Michael George, clerk, is a former public administrator in Massachusetts state and local government. He’s involved in numerous civic and community organizations, including First Church Boston. 

James Boggie comes from a long line of Bostonians. He was born and raised in the city, and studied history at Boston University. 

Steve Busby is a longtime tour guide in Boston and eastern Massachusetts covering both the early and revolutionary periods. 

Judy Cammack, a founding member of Historic Bostons, is a former mayor of Boston, Lincolnshire. 

Will Holton, president emeritus, is former professor of sociology at Northeastern University and a frequent visitor to Lincolnshire, UK.

Stephen Kenney has a PhD from Boston University and is director of the Commonwealth Museum, the Massachusetts state history museum.

Fred Meyer has worked in advertising and real estate and attended Harvard Divinity School. A former president of the Massachusetts Realtors’ Association, he’s also a trustee for a number of nonprofits. 

Roxanne Reddington-Wilde researches early modern Scotland and teaches at Cambridge College in Boston, MA. 

Sarah Stewart is a communications professional currently writing her master’s thesis on 17th century medical debates. 

Neil Wright is the author of numerous books and articles on the history of Boston, UK, and of Lincolnshire, and has given many talk on these subjects including some in Boston, MA. He is a member of the Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology. 

Rose Doherty, president emerita, led the Partnership from 2014-2017. She is a fellow of the Massachusetts Historical Society, a member of the Colonial Society of Massachusetts, and a founding board member of the Pursuit of History. She is also author of Katharine Gibbs: Beyond White Gloves.
